Q&A: What is “love” for you and what do you think of it in scientific terms?
Question by Josue_1987: What is “love” for you and what do you think of it in scientific terms?
What is “love” for you and what do you think of it in scientific terms?
What do you think of love in your own perspective? How much money, support, space, intimacy, etc, do you really need? Is attraction to the opposite sex while having a partner normal (Is it love to your partner, can you change the way of you’re behavior). And in scientific terms, how do you perceive it. I heard about a study saying something about the smell of your partner is what attracts oneself to their partner. What’s love to you?

I want my Friend to see this question….:)
I’m still working on what love is to me. I think it is a feeling that you don’t want to be without someone in your lifetime. Whether physically or emotionally. You definitely can be attracted to someone but not be in Love with them. Attraction is, mostly, based on physical appearance. Love goes deeper!!
It’s normal to be attracted to someone else. Naughty to act on it. I think that if you are in love, you wouldn’t be with someone else (sexually). I say, take out the attraction on your partner. Fantasize if you have to. It’s not like your partner will know!! Please don’t tell them your fantasizing about someone else. That will ruin the “mojo”.
Heart rate goes up when in the presence of your love. I think, most humans, aren’t in tune with the smelling issue. From experience, and I have heard of a study relating to this, if your smell is attractive, your partner will stay with you. Likewise, if your partner likes the taste of you. The five senses are the initial attraction.
Love develops over time!! There is a book by Gary Chapman called Five Love Languages. Check it out.

Q&A: What’s the difference between referring to someone as “love” and “my love”?
Question by Hark: What’s the difference between referring to someone as “love” and “my love”?
So this girl that I’m really good friends with recently referred to me as “my love”. Now, I’m accustomed to her saying like “love” (such as in “Good morning, love”), but this is the first time she’s used called me “my love”.
So what’s the difference?

mmm it could depend on how you feel about the words, I guess. To me, “my love” sounds more intimate than “love”. “Love” sounds friendlier.

If it stands the test of time, it’s love.
If it fades, it’s infatuation.
